Little Trojan Relays are a highlight of our elementary students' year and a great way to celebrate a year of learning. It is a day filled with fun, laughter, races, softball throwing, and long jumps. This year was no different and was a beautiful day with nice temps, blue skies, and plenty of sunshine. #TVPride

Today was the official last day for staff for the 2025–2026 school year at Turkey Valley. The TVEA honored two outstanding individuals with the Friendship of Education Bell Award for their dedication and service to our school community.
Dave Anderson has been the voice of Turkey Valley for many years, dedicating countless hours to supporting our students and programs. From announcing games, to serving as MC for Prom Grand March, to volunteering on multiple boards including TVEF, Dave has always been a proud supporter of Turkey Valley. Thank you, Dave, for everything you have done for our school and community.
AJ McKinney has been a driving force behind our robotics program over the past several years. He generously volunteered his time and electrical engineering expertise to mentor, teach, and support our robotics students. Even after retiring, AJ continued working alongside our senior captains throughout the school year. He never missed an opportunity to teach and never missed a competition. Thank you, AJ, for your incredible dedication to our students.
Today we also recognized 19 staff members celebrating years-of-service milestones, totaling an incredible 315 years dedicated to Turkey Valley. These milestones ranged from 5 years to an astonishing 40 years of service. Thankful and grateful do not feel like strong enough words to express our appreciation for the dedication and impact these staff members have made on our school.
Finally, we celebrated the legacies of two amazing educators as Barb Smith and Gail Holmes begin their next chapter as retired teachers. Together, they dedicated 63 years to Turkey Valley, teaching countless students, serving on committees, and spending endless hours planning, supporting, and encouraging students. We wish them all the best as they enjoy retirement and spend more time with family — especially their grandchildren.
Additionally, we honored Joe Pinter for his 11 years of service being the jack-of-all. He will be leaving us at the end of August to also enjoy the life of retirement. Thank you Joe!
