The TV/SF Trap Team Board will be holding a meeting at the St Lucas Community Center on Wednesday August 27th at 7PM for the parents of all returning team members or for any parents of students that would like to join the team in the spring of 2026. The board is currently looking for a head coach for the 2025 / 2026 season along with assistant coaches and range safety officers to be able to continue to offer students within the Turkey Valley / Sumner - Fredericksburg school districts the opportunity to participate in the Iowa trap shooting league.
In addition to looking for help in finding volunteers to help fill gaps in the coaching staff, the board is also looking for parent input on fundraising for the upcoming year. The team has equipment to be able to provide concessions at its home meets and our annual invite / memorial shoot but is looking for parent support to organize and staff the concession stand.
Anyone that is interested in getting certified to help coach or become a range safety officer can email the team to get more information about the process at tvtrapteam@gmail.com.
The board looks forward to seeing you at the meeting and helping us ensure we can continue to provide this opportunity for TV / SF students.
