Earlier this spring our 2nd grade students wrapped up their insect unit with a guest speaker. Jennifer Shekelton spoke to the students about insects, read them a book, and then they made butterflies out of coffee filters, markers, and a little bit of water to make the "metamorphosis" happen turning beautiful colors. An addition of a clothespin and pipe cleaners completed their creations. Hope you are having fun this summer 2nd grade and maybe catching a few insects to inspect! (part 2 of 2) #TVPride
