Turkey Valley Wins $500
To celebrate Engineers Week (February 19th-25th), Turkey Valley seventh graders participated in an engineering activity that was organized by Clapsaddle-Garber Associates, Inc. (CGA) of Cedar Falls. Teams built a house of cards and saw how much weight it could support before it collapsed. In the process, they considered structural integrity, strong building design, and materials. After completing this activity the class was entered into a drawing for $500 to be put toward STEM activities for the classroom, and Turkey Valley was selected! Congratulations to the seventh graders and a big thank you to CGA! #TVPride
