Ms. Halverson's preschool class has been busy! They have had a couple of very kind special guests visit. Over the past week, the class has been talking about dairy farms and Natalie is a dairy farmer from my hometown. She brought along one of their farm helpers that is interning from Africa! She also brought a calf for the kids to see! Natalie owns a business called Hightail Dairy and makes cheese curds and ice cream from her dairy cows. She is amazing! To end the morning, they figured it was only fitting to make some homemade ice cream in a bag and that was a big hit!🙂🍦 #TVPride

Ms. Halverson's preschool class made farmer fuel bags in appreciation for all that farmers do for us, especially during harvest season. They all brought in goodies to put in them. David Schneiter from the Fort Co-op was a special guest. These are available at area Co-ops for our hard-working farmers!. Thanks!

We love when Hanna Meyer comes to visit our classrooms. Hanna is with the Winneshiek County Conservation office and came to the preschool classes to share a lesson on insects. During the preschools' insect unit, the classes were able to go outside to catch bugs! We had a great time! More pictures can be seen on Turkey Valley Facebook. #TVPride
