Our kindergarten - second grade students enjoyed a morning of holiday activities. They traveled from classroom to classroom where each teacher hosted a different activity. With Mrs. Watt (Mrs. Hackman's sub) the students decorated their own wooden ornament and played some Would You Rather. Hope everyone's tree has a little extra decoration this year! #TVPride

Merry Christmas from the Mrs. Leibold's 8th grade math class! They wrapped up a unit on transformation and learned about tessellations. According to the students a tessellation is the covering of a surface, using one or more geometric shapes called tiles with no overlapping or gaps. To share their new knowledge they created this beautiful tree and decorated the hallway. Great thinking students! #TVPride

Earlier in December a group of seniors agreed to prepare a debate and demonstrate the debate process for Mrs. Holmes' American Literature class to learn from. They debated whether or not cell phones should be banned from all schools in the US. Great job seniors! #TVPride

Mrs. Holmes' American Lit class got the chance to show off their debate skills at the end of December. They debated about the legal drinking age and the death penalty. Great job with your research and arguments! #TVPride





Mrs. Hackman's 1st graders and Mrs. Raymond's 5th graders spent a little time together reading Christmas books together this week. #TVPride

Who would you be during the Middle Ages? A knight, a craftsman, a serf? Mrs. Vsetecka's 4th graders investigated this idea in a recent literacy unit. Great writing and reasoning! #TVPride






Ms. Nystel's 11th Grade U.S. History class spent a few days doing a hexagonal thinking activity. The activity helped students review information from their unit on the Civil War and prepare for the unit test. The great part is that not one poster looked the same and great conversations were happening. #TVPride
