Homecoming week gives us a chance to highlight our amazing school and we had so much spirit; too much to only share for one week out of the school year so here is a few more pictures of our elementary students! A HUGE highlight of the week for our elementary students is when the band marches through the hallways on Friday afternoon. #TVPride

3rd grade had a guest reader in library. Addison Steinlage read "Lacey Walker, Nonstop Talker" by Christianne Jones. They had a great conversation about talking versus listening and how both are important for different reasons. Great job Addison! #TVPride

Fire Prevention Week 2024 It's been an exciting Fire Prevention week so far for our Turkey Valley Elementary students. On Wednesday, Mr. Jerry Vrzak from the Waucoma Fire Dept. talked to our students about fire safety. Our K-4th grade students participated in a Fire Prevention poster contest. This year's theme is "Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!" The fire department chose 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners in each grade level. Stay tuned for more pictures. Our first place winners will get a ride to school in a fire truck Friday morning. We want to send a big THANK YOU out to all of our local volunteer firefighters and first responders. We appreciate you!!! Also, a luxury of being a rural community is when you get to teach your own children and then your grandchildren - the last picture is Jerry and his grandson, Lincoln. #TVPride
