Fire Prevention Week 2024
It's been an exciting Fire Prevention week so far for our Turkey Valley Elementary students. On Wednesday, Mr. Jerry Vrzak from the Waucoma Fire Dept. talked to our students about fire safety. Our K-4th grade students participated in a Fire Prevention poster contest. This year's theme is "Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!" The fire department chose 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners in each grade level. Stay tuned for more pictures. Our first place winners will get a ride to school in a fire truck Friday morning. We want to send a big THANK YOU out to all of our local volunteer firefighters and first responders. We appreciate you!!! Also, a luxury of being a rural community is when you get to teach your own children and then your grandchildren - the last picture is Jerry and his grandson, Lincoln. #TVPride

Friday Varsity Football vs Don Bosco kickoff is at 7 p.m. tickets must be purchased online before the game (link below) or you can purchase them using a card at the gate, no cash.

Varsity Volleyball is at Riceville on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. Admission into the tournament is $7 for adults and $6 for students.
Turkey Valley Kindergarten students have been enjoying many new additions to their classrooms, including flexible seating, easels, clipboards, storage baskets, finger puzzles, alphabet stamps, a drying rack and new rug. These items have allowed students to have more choices and fun while they are learning. Special thanks to the Turkey Valley Education Foundation for sponsoring these items! #TVPride
