Homecoming Announcement

This Friday night’s Homecoming football game versus Central of Elkader has been cancelled.  Central has forfeited due to lack of players as a result of injuries and illness.

The Homecoming Coronation will now take place during the volleyball matches on Thursday night, the 28th, when the Trojans play host to the Postville Pirates.  The 9th grade match starts at 5:30.  The 9th graders will play two games.  Immediately following the 9th grade games the Homecoming Court will be introduced.

JV will then play their match.  They will play two games and a third if needed.

Immediately following the JV match the Homecoming Court along with their parents will be introduced.  Last year’s king and queen will also share in the evening’s ceremonies.  The 2017 king and queen will be crowned after introductions.

The varsity match will follow after coronation.


The Turkey Valley Booster Club tailgate meal will also be held Thursday night in the Commons from 3:30 until the conclusion of the volleyball matches or until food is gone.  Menu includes pork sandwich, cheesy potatoes, baked beans and a drink for $5.00.  Concessions will be offering drinks, candy, and popcorn.


The Homecoming Dance will be on Friday night, the 29th, from 8:00 - 10:30 PM.


Student dress-up days and activities will continue throughout the day during the week.




2017-2018 BackPack Program

Turkey Valley is partnering with the Northeast Iowa Food Bank to provide the BackPack Program to students during the 2017-2018 school year.  The program begins in September and will continue throughout the school year.
